Programmers adore Revelations from God. That’s when some truth is obvious to everyone, while programmers arrive at it through long, expansive reasoning.

Today I read the article “TDD Harms Architecture”. (http://blog.cleancoder.com/uncle-bob/2017/03/03/TDD-Harms-Architecture.html). The article is about how, supposedly, the culture of automated testing harms a program’s architecture. After long, expansive reasoning, the author ends with five paragraphs of text about how it’s programmers who make bad architecture, not tests.

Another programmer has delivered Revelations from God. To me this is just as funny as the label on a Superman costume: “Does not grant the ability to fly.”
